Jess starting dancing at the young age of 3 where she enrolled into ballet and tap classes. As she moved through the dance school, Jess realised there was passion and commitment behind her love for dance which led her to study dance and musical theatre as a professional career.. She trained at a prestigious stage school in London, CPA Studios in which she graduated with a Level 6 Diploma in Musical Theatre. With her training Jess danced abroad in several professional productions and travelled up and down the UK performing at different events, productions and gigs.. Wanting to further her education, she decided to study for another year turning her diploma into a BA (Hons) in Professional Dance Practise Once retaining her degree, Jess found the love for teaching and passing down her knowledge to the younger generations. Running 'The Hub' now means Jess can take full ownership and accountability for the future generation of dancers and she can’t be more excited about it!
We Love Our Community! The Performance Hub has seen first hand the life long friendships a dance community can create! To Christmas parties, presentation evenings and dance trips away, we love to bring our pupils and parents together!

Grace was also an early starter with dance! Though her childhood Grace embraced her love of all things performance and took part in many shows, exams and competitions. As a young adult she decided to take her passion seriously as train as a professional performer. Grace completed many professional contracts leading her to travel across the UK and Europe before deciding to complete her BA (Hons) in Dance Performance & Post Compulsory Education and Training qualification to begin her teaching career. After a successful 5 year long career teaching dance and drama to pre professional students Grace took on the additional role to manage a Performing Arts Department at a local college alongside taking on The Performance Hub! Grace is very proud of the ethos, training and community The Performance Hub has created and welcomes all students to try dance and/or Drama wether they wish to pursue a career in the arts or not!
Since September I’ve taken on the drama classes for Jess and Grace. With both groups it’s my responsibility to make sure the children are having fun while also learning. I focus on what the children enjoy spending time on e.g. improvising or script work developing that topic further to improve other general drama and social skills. In general, at The Hub I’m there for anything, whether that be covering a class or tying jazz shoes! Being a part of The Hub is so positive and being in that environment has made my life more positive.
Hey! I’m Mia I've just graduated my 3rd year at Performers College studying 'Dance and Musical Theatre'. I assist multiple classes on Saturdays and cover classes when needed. I love working here and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
I became a part of The Hub community to deliver Baby Ballet classes. I love working with the younger children and watching their imagination, physical skill, confidence and socialisation grow from week to week. We have a lovely time during class, and I genuinely look forward to catching up with both student's and parents each Saturday morning!
I work at The Hub on Thursdays to assist with the acro & street classes. I love to see how quickly the students' progress with such a positive environment! As a qualified classical ballet student teacher (NATD) I came from a dance background where examinations are integral. Working as part of The Performance Hub it's a joy to see the children develop their skills and love of dance and I really appreciate how free work can be just as rewarding!
I have been involved in Performing arts my whole life. Training in all styles of dance as well as singing and acting. I gained my Ba Hons degree in professional dance and musical theatre from the Urdang academy in London. I have performed worldwide in a variety of different performances from a backing dancer, award shows, musicals, pantomimes, music videos and more. I now teach students of all ages and ensure a safe, fun and exciting environment is always created. My motto is and will always be “don’t stop until you are proud!”
